In a live-stream of the Google Performance Summit on Tuesday, Google announced some big changes they are making to the format of text ads. The new expanded text ads, available later on this year, will be optimised for screen sizes of the most popular smartphones. It means that you will be able to showcase more information about your products/services. This is what will be changing:
Sridhar Ramaswamy, Senior Vice President, Ads and Commerce at Google also said this in the Inside AdWords Blog: “These upgrades help your ads work harder across screens, especially for the on-the-go mobile consumer that wants to know exactly what you offer before tapping into your website”
