Instagram is changing the way you can target users under the age of 18.

    Currently you can target all users based on interests and activity on other sites. But this will now become unavailable for users who are under 18. The only targeting available for this age group will be age, gender and location.

    If you’re running ads to this age group you need to review how you’re reaching them so that you don’t lose access to this section of your audience.

    In the coming weeks this update will roll out worldwide and will be applied to ads on Instagram, Facebook and Messenger.
