From the 6th of April, Google will be cracking down on sellers who are showing higher prices at checkout.
Price accuracy is a long standing policy which means merchants have to match the price in their Google merchant feed to the price on their e-commerce page. This price must be the same all the way through the checkout process. If you breach this, Google will suspend your merchant account.
Google has this policy in place so that users have a positive shopping experience using their feature. Price inaccuracy would create a negative experience for customers and could result in a loss of sale.
Google won’t immediately suspend your account. You will receive a 28-day notice to fix these errors and if they aren’t fixed in that time you will be suspended.
