Google My Business has updated the flag a review feature
Businesses have never been able to remove reviews from Google My Business. However, they have been able to report them if they are inappropriate. This feature has now been updated for an improved workflow and additional options.
When reporting a review Google My Business now gives more options. Businesses can now choose to report a review for the following reasons: off-topic, spam, conflict of interest, profanity, harassment, discrimination or personal information. Once you submit a report you will now see a confirmation screen and an estimated time for review. This new process should make it easier for businesses to flag inappropriate reviews.
