Google’s Property Promotion ads are designed to target users who are searching, but haven’t chosen a hotel they want to book.

    These ads are prominent in search results for geographic locations, allowing advertisers to show specific hotel locations. Before this launch, advertisers had to be on a whitelist to have Property Promotion ads. Now this ad type has launched, you can create these ads directly through the Google Ads interface.

    To use this ad type you need to select it as your ad group type when creating a hotel campaign. With restrictions reducing, these ads should help boost conversions in the travel industry by reaching users that are higher up in the purchase funnel.
