Google has pushed the launch of their Page Experience algorithm from May to mid-June.
This gives advertisers an extra month to prepare for this update. This update also includes Core Web Vitals becoming Search ranking signals. However, this won’t be fully implemented until the end of August.
The reason for this slow rollout is so that Google can monitor for any unexpected issues that may arise. Google has said that there shouldn’t be any drastic changes in rankings, as this will still only be one of many factors which is taken into consideration.
Google Search Console now has a Page Experience report, this will help site owners by giving them additional insights into why they are ranking in certain positions.
