The difficulty with sharing your content online is that sometimes your credit can get lost when it’s shared across the web. Your content can then be used in ways you may not be happy with.

Pinterest has designed their content claiming portal to enable creators to have more control over their content on the site. This tool will give creators the ability to remove existing and future versions of their content.

To get started, you need to submit an application to the content claiming portal. Once your application is approved you can start uploading your original content and choosing your enforcement options. You can choose mine only, which means all posts except for your will be removed. Website only, which means only pins linking to your claimed website will be eligible to stay live. Or block all, which means all existing and future versions will be removed.
