This will allow Pinterest users to shop directly from pins. They will also be able to get inspiration from Shopping spotlights, which are designed to showcase expert recommendations and trends. Pinners are already saving products they love on Pinterest, and we know that they’re 7 times more likely to purchase a product they’ve saved.

Due to this, Pinterest is now launching Shopping List. This is a new way for Pinners to save their product pins in a single place. This is designed to make it easier for Pinners to come back to. They will also be notified if the price drops on a product they’ve saved.

Pinterest is also launching a new suite of merchant tools to help retailers thrive on the platform. These include the Verified Merchant Program, a profile Shop tab and product tagging. Retailers in the Verified Merchant Program have met Pinterests qualifications for high quality products, website and customer service experience. These merchants will display a blue check on their profiles, and they will be eligible for increased distribution on the platform.
