Alphabet Loon prepares commercial internet connectivity balloons to Kenya

Loon is Google’s parent company Alphabets attempt at a commercial method for getting the internet to hard to reach places by balloon. The Kenyan government approved the service a couple of weeks ago and now the balloons are in testing.
The balloons will float at roughly 65,000 feet and will make their journey roughly 6,800 mile from their launch site to their service location using their own internal navigation software utilising wind currents. Once in location that balloons will use machine learning to keep themselves in a relatively static service location.
Loom has a partnership with Telkom and will start providing its service through this provider. So is ad targeting in Kenya about to get better?
