    Instagram is part of the Facebook family, so I am assuming what is released about Instrgam also applies to Facebook / Instagram. Ithas clarified its guidelines for using music in videos in its platforms.  Even though Instagram encourages the use of music as part of the creativity of content on the platform.  Instagram has a number of agreements with the music rights holders.  

    The following guidelines have been released for music on Instagram 

    1.  There is no limit on music on stories for things like filming live events or bands.
    2. The greater the number of full length tracks us the more likely they will become limited.
    3. Shorter music clips are recommended.

    4. There should always be a visual component to your video ie the recorded audio should not be the primary purpose of the video.
