My favourite price is free. Google has said “ As people begin to visit businesses in person again, we want to send more customers your way. Through September 2020, you won’t be charged for any clicks, calls or sales from Promoted pins.
We’ve started rolling out Promoted pins to Smart campaign advertisers with a Google My Business profile, and it will be fully available in the coming weeks.”
I am always up for free advertising and marketing. For the 15 minutes that it takes to set this up I recommend you do it too.
So this is really simple as long as you have a Google ads account and a Google my business page setup and connected, creating a smart campaign (my least favourite type of campaign) is super simple. Just click ad new campaigns, leads, then select smart campaigns, follow the instructions and you are done and live.
These are great to use for free but do keep an eye on them as depending on how these run I think you might still get charged for some elements, although they do say “Through September 2020, you won’t be charged for any clicks, calls or sales from Promoted pins.” although get ready to pause them again in October and switch to a campaign format to where you get some data.
