Last year Google announced that they would be combining their custom affinity and custom intent audiences into one solution. Custom audiences are now available to all customers across Display, Youtube and Discovery campaigns.

    Custom audiences can be used for any business goal and you will be shown an estimated reach during setup. If you already have custom intent or affinity audiences these will automatically transfer to custom audiences. 

    You can setup new custom audiences from Audience Manager and you have 2 options to choose from. You can select either ‘People with any of these interests or purchase intentions’ or ‘People who searched for any of these terms on Google’.
