If you are using Instagram influencers as part of your marketing plan for 2021 check this update out.  This new process looks like a really great way of streamlining the ads creation process.

Instagram introduced branded content ads last year to help influencers identify when their posts are sponsored. They look exactly like organic posts; except they include a small tag which states ‘paid partnership with {brand}’. Creating the ads for this content requires a lot of coordination between the influencer and the brand. Instagram is looking to streamline this.

This new process will allow brands to request ad creation access and publish ads directly to the influencers account. This removes the requirement of the content being posted organically first. Ads can’t go live without approval from the influencer, so ads are submitted to them for approval.
