LinkedIn is introducing a fresh design, streamlined search results, a stories feature and new messaging features.

The redesign includes a reduction in their brand colour and more emphasis on user connections.  While streamlined search will allow you to search all aspects of LinkedIn, including groups, events and content. LinkedIn has seen a major increase in content on the site so this new search feature will really emphasise this.

The biggest update is LinkedIn Stories, however this has only been released in the US and Canada so far. It’s designed to help users share more personal moments around their professional lives. LinkedIn wants this feature to initiate conversations, they are facilitating this with local stickers and question of the day functions.

Lastly, LinkedIn have made updates to their messaging service. You can now manage messages in bulk, you can edit or delete messages after sending and you can send emoji reactions. They have also added a video meeting feature, to help switch your text chat to a video call using Teams, BlueJeans or Zoom.
