Shopping habits have changed over the last year, with most purchases taking place online. However, some consumers still long for the in-store experience. Longing to be able to see products up close, try products on or get advice from experts.
Shopping online is particularly difficult when it comes to beauty products. It’s hard to tell which shade of red would suit you or what different colours would look like against your skin tone. To make this easier, Google has partnered with ModiFace and Perfect Corp to help users visualise thousands of make-up products from leading brands.
Now when you search for specific products from brands such as L’Oreal, MAC and Charlotte Tilbury. You’ll be able to see the product on a range of skin tones, compare shades and textures. In the Google app you’ll also be able to try different products on yourself.
